3rd grade News
We are currently working on measurement units in math, so if you have tape measures or rulers at home, take them out and measure some things around the house to help your child in this area. We are also studying government in Social Studies (local, state, Federal). In writing, we are learning how to be persuasive writers, so don't be surprised if your child uses this new skill to persuade you to serve ice cream for dinner. Also, we would like to welcome Erika Johnson to our team. Ms. Johnson is a student teacher from UWG, and is working in Mrs. Parker's room. She has proven to a valuable member of our team. |
