Dear Parents,

We are happy to announce that we are starting our much anticipated renovations on Monday. However, there will be some changes in our procedures due to the construction. Please read over this note carefully and do not hesitate to call the school if you have any questions about our new plan.

Starting Monday, March 3rd, ALL parent pick up and drop off will be located on the breeze way between the 1st grade and Kindergarten buildings beside what is currently the bus lane.

Our procedures for drop-off will be for parents to enter the driveway from the one way street (Central Primary Rd.) and form two lanes of traffic. This will be the opposite direction the road used to go. Parents will stop where directed in front of the breeze way and children will be allowed to exit their cars. If your child needs help getting out of the car, please make sure that you use the left hand lane and that your child is in the rear driver’s side seat. Once your child has been dropped off, traffic will merge into one lane and will exit the campus by the playground (Middle School Road). If you are late to school (7:50) please bring your child in the office to sign in.

Also, as of Monday, all students will eat breakfast in the K-2 lunchroom. If your child is to eat breakfast, they must report to the lunchroom immediately. Remember that breakfast is only served until 7:45.

Parent pick up will also be in the same place using two lanes. All students will be picked up from this area and the procedures should be the same as those being used on the 3-5 side, with lanes being dismissed only after all cars are loaded.

Please note that there will no longer be parent pick up at either side of the school as the 3-5 side will be blocked off due to construction, and the K-2 side will now be the bus lane. We appreciate your patience with these changes as we start our renovations in earnest.
