My name is Deja Lovejoy. I have been working with children since I was seventeen years old. I started off working at a childcare center as a lead three-year old teacher for about eight years before becoming a paraprofessional with Coweta County Schools. Upon graduation in 2021, I was blessed to be offered a full-time teaching position with Carroll County Schools.

I graduated from Mercer University with my Bachelor's, and I currently attend Brenau University as a student in their Master's of Arts in Teaching program.

I have two daughters that also attend Central Elementary, and we are all about school spirit! When I am not working in my classroom, I enjoy shopping (Target is my favorite spot!), reading, spending time outside with my family, and volunteering in the community.
