This year I will be starting my 21st year as an educator. In 2022, I graduated from University of West Georgia and began my teaching career as a First Grade teacher at Carrollton Elementary School. I had the privilege to teach there for fourteen years. During that time, I received my Masters in Reading in 2008, became Gifted Endorsed in 2010, and earned my Specialist in Curriculum in 2012. In 2016, I was blessed to become part of the Central Lion family. I have enjoyed teaching First Grade for 19 years along with gifted experience in both school systems for 12 years. I'm excited to begin my second year as a gifted facilitator to help children develop critical thinking skills as they discover the world around them.
