I have been a resident in Carroll County since 2008. I am currently in my 16th year in education. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 2007 in Elementary Education; I obtained my Masters of Education in Reading Education in 2009 from Walden University. I completed my Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of West Georgia in 2012. I am also a Nationally STEM Certified teacher and coach through the National Institute of STEM Education. 

This is my third year serving as the Assistant Principal at Central Elementary. Previously, I worked three years as a district instructional coach, and before that I taught at Whitesburg Elementary for twelve years. Education is my passion and the heart of who I am! I absolutely love my job because I spend my days with the most amazing teachers and students!

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Nolan and we have two wonderful children; Parker (11) and Emma (9). Parker is a 6th grader at CMS, and Emma is a fourth grader at CES! Our family loves being part of the Lion community and love being aa part of this wonderful family!
