Bio


Dalenie Jones has been teaching for 35 years. She has taught all 35 years at Central Elementary. This is                                                                                      her 7th year as the head tennis coach at Central High School. She was the assistant coach for three years
before taking over as the head coach. Dalenie has also been the head coach for the Central Middle
School for the past 11 years. Dalenie started a Tennis Club at the elementary school in 2017 to introduce
the younger generation to the game of tennis and learn the skills.

Dalenie received her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Special Education at the University of West
Georgia and her Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She is married to Robert, and they
have 2 daughters. Elle just graduated from the University of West Georgia with a finance degree. She continue her                                                                          graduate studies at Auburn University in the fall to pursue her masters and PHD in finance. Emily is a junior at UWG                                                                    majoring in biology and chemistry. She also pole vaults for the track team. 

When she is not teaching or coaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, playing
tennis and traveling. She helps volunteer for her church with their church camp during the summer. You
can either find her in the classroom, on the tennis courts, or at any Central Community Event. Go Lions!!
