All About Mrs. Gibbs
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and my Specialist degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Georgia. I also hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University. My teaching career began in Douglasville, GA, where I served as a Kindergarten teacher at North Douglas Elementary.
In 2016, I was thrilled to join the CES family as a Kindergarten teacher. It was a dream come true to teach in the community where I live. There’s something truly meaningful about working with the children of family, friends, and neighbors.
In 2018, I had the privilege of moving up with my Kindergarten class to First Grade. Watching those students grow into confident readers and writers was an unforgettable experience. That year, First Grade captured my heart, and I’ve loved teaching it ever since.
My husband, Kevin, is a lifelong Carroll County resident and currently serves as the PGA Director of Golf and Instruction at Oak Mountain Golf Club. He shares my passion for working with children and enjoys teaching junior golf lessons and hosting clinics. We live in Carrollton with our dog, Hershey, and we’re proud to support and serve the Carrollton community we call home.
