I am a lifelong Carroll County resident. Growing up, I lived in Villa Rica and attended Villa Rica Elementary, Bay Springs Middle School, and graduated from Villa Rica High School. I received my bachelors in education from the University of West Georgia. This will be my 10th year in education. I've taught 5th grade math (1 year), 3rd grade math and science (5 years), and 4th grade math (3 year). I truly love seeing my students grow and equipping them for the next grade.

I am married to Ashley McCord and we have 2 children, Henry and Clara. I love spending time with my family. We attend West Hills Church in Villa Rica. I am a fan of most sports but I am a diehard Atlanta Braves fan!
